Materials guide

Three statue finishes. The size is the longest side, including the small base.

Full Colour

Full Colour

5 cm to 30 cm

Best for. A lifelike coloured statue, up to about the length of a school ruler.

How it looks. High-definition colour printing maps your pet's coat directly onto the 3D surface. It preserves distinctive colours, markings, and patterns for the most lifelike Pawprints finish.

Finish. UV material jetting (Mimaki). Fine detail with a smooth matte finish.

Bronze

Bronze

5 cm to 10 cm

Best for. A small solid-metal keepsake, about the height of a tea cup.

How it looks. Your model is first 3D printed in high-detail wax. The wax is then encased in a ceramic shell, heated until the wax melts away, and molten bronze is poured into the mould. The result is a solid metal keepsake with incredible detail — the same technique used for fine jewellery and sculpture for thousands of years.

Finish. Investment casting. Solid metal — real bronze (90% copper, 10% tin). Heirloom quality that lasts generations. Natural or hand-polished finish. It will develop a unique patina over time.

Eggshell white large-format statue finish

Eggshell White

5 cm to 50 cm

Best for. The finish for the largest display statues, up to a small cushion.

How it looks. A soft eggshell-white finish in robust ASA, engineered to resist UV light and weather. This material offers a dramatically larger build volume than colour or bronze, making it the best choice for a large statement sculpture.

Finish. Weather-resistant ASA printing. UV- and weather-resistant ASA, in a soft eggshell-white monochrome finish.
